What Is in This Photograph?

Three-quarter front on a seamless red ground, roof down, so the red leather interior reads against the white body. The dark five-spoke wheels, the bonnet vent and the tricolour pony badge in the grille are all part of the package. There is no floor line and no horizon, which is why the car appears to sit in colour rather than in a place. Ford builds sets like this so a single frame can carry a launch campaign in any market.

What Is the 60th Anniversary Package?

A limited package for the 2025 model year marking sixty years since the Mustang went on sale in April 1964 as a 1965 model. It was offered on GT Premium coupes and convertibles only, with 1,965 built, the number chosen for the first model year. It brings Wimbledon White paint with a red stripe, a Carmin Red leather-trimmed interior, 20-inch Dark Gravity Gray five-spoke wheels, specific badging and side stripes drawn from the 1965 car.

Why Wimbledon White?

Because it is the colour most associated with the earliest Mustangs, including the first cars delivered in 1964. Pairing it with a red stripe and red interior reproduces a period combination rather than inventing a new one, which is the whole logic of an anniversary package: the visual references have to be verifiable or they do not work.
