About This Image
About This Image
A 2024 Ford Bronco Sport climbing a loose rock track at dusk, BRONCO lit across the grille, with jagged peaks behind it.
What Is in This Photograph?
A high front three-quarter view looking slightly down onto the vehicle as it comes up the track. The paint is a pale grey-blue, the roof carries silver rails, and the round headlamps and the BRONCO lettering between them are lit, which pulls the eye straight to the front end in the failing light. Dust drifts off the rear wheels. The track is broken rock and gravel with a sheer drop to the right, the ridge on the left is covered in scree and moss, and behind the vehicle two black spires of rock stand against a sky graded from pink cloud into deep blue.
What Is the Bronco Sport?
The smaller, unibody Bronco, aimed at drivers who want the capability and the look without a full body-on-frame truck. The standard engine is a turbocharged 1.5-litre three-cylinder EcoBoost producing 181 horsepower and 190 lb-ft, with standard all-wheel drive and terrain modes for loose surfaces (Car and Driver, Kelley Blue Book).
Why Shoot It at This Hour?
Because dusk is the only time the lights and the landscape can both be read. Ten minutes earlier the sky is flat and the headlamps do nothing; ten minutes later the peaks are gone. Shooting in the narrow window between lets the photograph make two arguments at once, that the vehicle is small enough for a track like this and serious enough to be out there as the light goes.
Who Is This Print For?
This Bronco Sport print suits Bronco Sport owners, weekend overlanders and trail users, mountain and cabin interiors, and dealership showrooms that want something other than a studio car. The dusk palette works particularly well on metal, where the pink and blue sky holds its saturation. Choose framed print, stretched canvas, ChromaLuxe metal or Giclée.
