What Is in This Photograph?

A tight crop at rear wheel height, cutting the car off at both edges so the composition is entirely surface and shape. The paint is a deep red with a very hard reflection running along the top of the rear haunch. The wheel is a multi-spoke design in exposed carbon weave, with a black caliper and a red-marked disc behind it, wrapped in a Michelin tyre with the sidewall lettering legible. Below the door, a white stripe with a gold border carries FORD in gold capitals, and under that the carbon sill extension and part of the diffuser catch a hard light. The background is a plain dark to light studio gradient.

What Is the Ford GT?

A carbon-fibre, mid-engined, twin-turbocharged V6 supercar built in a strictly limited run of 1,350 cars, with production ending in December 2022 (Paul Tan). Several Heritage Editions honoured specific historic cars. This car is the Alan Mann Heritage Edition, finished in Alan Mann red with gold graphics and Frozen White accent stripes, commemorating the 1966 experimental lightweight GTs run by Alan Mann Racing and was itself limited to 30 cars (Ford Media, The Shop).
