This archival photograph shows a Ford Mustang GTD in exact side profile against a pale studio background, the swan-neck rear wing, wide fenders and bronze wheels fully visible.

About This Image

A Ford Mustang GTD in exact side profile against a pale studio background, lit so the whole aerodynamic profile reads as one line.

What Is in This Photograph?

A true elevation view, camera square to the flank, on a light grey floor that fades into a light grey wall with no visible horizon. The car is dark blue-grey. Read front to back: a splitter almost touching the floor, louvred extractors in the bonnet, a vent behind the front wheel, a deeply undercut side sill, a second vent ahead of the rear arch, and a black swan-neck wing carried on struts above the rear deck. The roofline drops in one continuous curve into the tail. The wheels are bronze with red calipers, and a soft pool of light sits under the car.

What Is the Mustang GTD?

A road-legal car developed out of Ford's Mustang GT3 racing programme. A supercharged 5.2-litre Predator V8 makes 815 horsepower and 664 lb-ft, sent through a carbon-fibre driveshaft to a rear-mounted transaxle, with a claimed 202 mph top speed and a Nürburgring lap under seven minutes (Autoblog, Motor Authority). Pricing starts near $318,760, and production is limited and serialised.

Why Does the Profile View Matter Most?

Because it is the view that shows the engineering argument. A three-quarter shot flatters the shape; a straight profile exposes the ride height, the rake, the wing height relative to the roof and the depth of the side sill, which are the things that make downforce rather than the things that make a car photogenic. Manufacturers shoot this view for their own engineers as much as for their brochures.

Who Is This Print For?

This Mustang GTD print suits GTD reservation holders and modern Mustang owners, motorsport engineers, design studios, and minimal or gallery-style interiors where the pale background is an advantage. The wide aspect and clean edges make it one of the easiest images here to hang in a group. Choose framed print, stretched canvas, ChromaLuxe metal or Giclée.

Framed Print

Our framed prints feature a black, hand-stained solid wood frame with a white mat, museum-quality paper, archival inks, Acrylite glazing, and hanging hardware. The frame features a slim 0.8-inch face and projects 1.3 inches from the wall, creating a clean, contemporary shadow-box effect. Made in the USA or Europe, depending on your location.

Stretched Canvas

Our stretched canvas prints are produced on acid-free, pH-neutral, and fade-resistant canvas. Each canvas is hand-glued to solid wood stretcher bars and stretched over 1.25-inch-thick pine bars. Mounting brackets are included. Made in the USA or Europe, depending on your location.

Giclée Art Print

Our Giclée prints are produced using premium 200gsm semi-gloss paper and high-quality archival inks. Each print includes a white border around the perimeter.

For the 40 x 60 size, we use 250gsm museum-quality archival paper with an off-white, uncoated finish.

The listed size refers to the overall paper dimensions. The image is printed proportionally within the selected paper size. Made in the USA or Europe, depending on your location.

ChromaLuxe

ChromaLuxe prints use a state-of-the-art coating process that infuses the image directly onto sheets of alloy metal. The result is photography with an exceptional combination of vibrancy, clarity, and durability.

Each print arrives ready to hang. An alloy subframe on the back allows the artwork to float away from the wall for a sleek, modern appearance. This is the finest-quality print we offer. Made in the USA.
