This archival illustration is a Ford Mustang GTD design rendering in blue and yellow, the car shown front three-quarter against a split yellow and grey ground and signed by the designer.

About This Image

A finished Ford Mustang GTD design rendering in blue and yellow, the car set against a ground split between flat yellow and dark grey, signed by the designer.

What Is in This Rendering?

A front three-quarter view worked up to presentation standard. The body is a deep blue with cyan highlights and yellow graphics sweeping from the nose along the sill and over the rear haunch, the paint rendered with hard studio reflections. The front splitter, bonnet louvres, side gills and a large swan-neck rear wing are all resolved. The near front wheel has a yellow centre and the rear a silver one, and both are reflected in a glossy floor. Behind the car the background is divided vertically: flat chrome yellow on the left, textured dark grey on the right. A designer's signature and a date sit low on the right.

How Does This Differ From a Sketch?

It is a sales document rather than a thinking tool. Every surface is committed, the lighting is invented to flatter the shoulder line and the wheel arches, and the colour is chosen for impact in a review room rather than for a showroom. The split background is a studio convention that lets one image show the car against both a bright and a dark field at once.

What Is the Mustang GTD?

Ford's road-legal car derived from the Mustang GT3 programme. A supercharged 5.2-litre Predator V8 makes 815 horsepower and 664 lb-ft, driving a rear-mounted transaxle through a carbon-fibre shaft, with 202 mph claimed and a Nürburgring lap under seven minutes (Autoblog, Motor Authority).

Who Is This Print For?

This design rendering print suits automotive designers and illustrators, design schools, GTD enthusiasts, and interiors that want strong flat colour rather than photographic realism. The yellow and blue palette makes it one of the boldest images in the archive at large sizes. Choose framed print, stretched canvas, ChromaLuxe metal or Giclée.

Framed Print

Our framed prints feature a black, hand-stained solid wood frame with a white mat, museum-quality paper, archival inks, Acrylite glazing, and hanging hardware. The frame features a slim 0.8-inch face and projects 1.3 inches from the wall, creating a clean, contemporary shadow-box effect. Made in the USA or Europe, depending on your location.

Stretched Canvas

Our stretched canvas prints are produced on acid-free, pH-neutral, and fade-resistant canvas. Each canvas is hand-glued to solid wood stretcher bars and stretched over 1.25-inch-thick pine bars. Mounting brackets are included. Made in the USA or Europe, depending on your location.

Giclée Art Print

Our Giclée prints are produced using premium 200gsm semi-gloss paper and high-quality archival inks. Each print includes a white border around the perimeter.

For the 40 x 60 size, we use 250gsm museum-quality archival paper with an off-white, uncoated finish.

The listed size refers to the overall paper dimensions. The image is printed proportionally within the selected paper size. Made in the USA or Europe, depending on your location.

ChromaLuxe

ChromaLuxe prints use a state-of-the-art coating process that infuses the image directly onto sheets of alloy metal. The result is photography with an exceptional combination of vibrancy, clarity, and durability.

Each print arrives ready to hang. An alloy subframe on the back allows the artwork to float away from the wall for a sleek, modern appearance. This is the finest-quality print we offer. Made in the USA.
