This archival photograph shows a Ford Mustang GTD in Ford grey, high front three-quarter in a white studio, with its swan-neck rear wing, wide fenders and bronze wheels.

About This Image

A Ford Mustang GTD photographed high front three-quarter in a plain white studio, the full aerodynamic package in clear view.

What Is in This Photograph?

A raised three-quarter view against a seamless white background, the car lit so the reflections run unbroken along the flanks. The paint is a cool grey. The front splitter and dive planes sit close to the floor, there are extractor vents cut into the bonnet, gills behind the front wheels and a second set ahead of the rear arches, and the fenders are visibly wider than a standard Mustang's. A large swan-neck rear wing stands clear of the deck. The wheels are bronze with red brake calipers behind them, and the car's shadow pools tight underneath.

What Is the Mustang GTD?

A road car built from Ford's GT3 racing programme rather than the other way round. A supercharged 5.2-litre Predator V8 produces 815 horsepower and 664 lb-ft, driving through a carbon-fibre driveshaft to a rear-mounted transaxle, with a claimed top speed of 202 mph (Autoblog, Motor Authority). It laps the Nürburgring in under seven minutes, and pricing starts around $318,760.

Why Shoot It in an Empty Studio?

Because every line on this car exists for a reason, and a location would hide half of them. The white cyclorama removes context so the splitter, the vents, the fender width and the wing can be read as a single connected system. It is the automotive equivalent of a technical drawing that still looks like a photograph.

Who Is This Print For?

This Mustang GTD print suits modern Mustang owners and GTD reservation holders, aerodynamics and motorsport engineering enthusiasts, showrooms, offices and minimal interiors where a clean white background is an advantage. It hangs well beside other studio work because the background disappears into a light wall. Choose framed print, stretched canvas, ChromaLuxe metal or Giclée.

Framed Print

Our framed prints feature a black, hand-stained solid wood frame with a white mat, museum-quality paper, archival inks, Acrylite glazing, and hanging hardware. The frame features a slim 0.8-inch face and projects 1.3 inches from the wall, creating a clean, contemporary shadow-box effect. Made in the USA or Europe, depending on your location.

Stretched Canvas

Our stretched canvas prints are produced on acid-free, pH-neutral, and fade-resistant canvas. Each canvas is hand-glued to solid wood stretcher bars and stretched over 1.25-inch-thick pine bars. Mounting brackets are included. Made in the USA or Europe, depending on your location.

Giclée Art Print

Our Giclée prints are produced using premium 200gsm semi-gloss paper and high-quality archival inks. Each print includes a white border around the perimeter.

For the 40 x 60 size, we use 250gsm museum-quality archival paper with an off-white, uncoated finish.

The listed size refers to the overall paper dimensions. The image is printed proportionally within the selected paper size. Made in the USA or Europe, depending on your location.

ChromaLuxe

ChromaLuxe prints use a state-of-the-art coating process that infuses the image directly onto sheets of alloy metal. The result is photography with an exceptional combination of vibrancy, clarity, and durability.

Each print arrives ready to hang. An alloy subframe on the back allows the artwork to float away from the wall for a sleek, modern appearance. This is the finest-quality print we offer. Made in the USA.
