About This Image

Second-generation Ford GT in silver with a black centre stripe, photographed three-quarter front against a mountain backdrop.

What Is in This Photograph?

The car sits square to the camera, slightly forward of three-quarter, on open ground with snow-streaked peaks behind it. The composition puts the whole width of the front end in view: the split nose, the deep front splitter, the vented clamshell and the buttresses that carry air from the doors back to the rear wing. Silver paint over the carbon fibre body picks up the sky, which makes the black stripe and the dark wheels the strongest lines in the frame.

What Is the Second-Generation Ford GT?

Ford's return to a mid-engined supercar, built in very small numbers and sold by application rather than order. Power comes from a 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 rated at 647 horsepower and 550 lb-ft of torque, a version of the engine family Ford also races and installs in its trucks (Car and Driver). Choosing a turbocharged V6 over a large V8 was a deliberate break from the 1960s cars, and it was driven by the racing programme the road car existed to support.

Why Does the Shape Look Like That?

Almost none of it is styling for its own sake. The narrow cabin, the flying buttresses and the open channels through the rear bodywork exist to move air to the rear wing and the radiators, and the car is closer to a racing prototype with number plates than to a conventional road supercar. Seen from this angle the width of the front and the narrowness of the cockpit are unmistakable.

Who Is This Print For?

This Ford GT print suits Ford GT owners and applicants, supercar enthusiasts, motorsport followers, dealership showrooms and modern interiors. A clean landscape setting and a light car make it one of the easier images to place in a room that is not already built around cars. Choose framed print, stretched canvas, ChromaLuxe metal or Giclée.

Framed Print

Our framed prints feature a black, hand-stained solid wood frame with a white mat, museum-quality paper, archival inks, Acrylite glazing, and hanging hardware. The frame features a slim 0.8-inch face and projects 1.3 inches from the wall, creating a clean, contemporary shadow-box effect. Made in the USA or Europe, depending on your location.

Stretched Canvas

Our stretched canvas prints are produced on acid-free, pH-neutral, and fade-resistant canvas. Each canvas is hand-glued to solid wood stretcher bars and stretched over 1.25-inch-thick pine bars. Mounting brackets are included. Made in the USA or Europe, depending on your location.

Giclée Art Print

Our Giclée prints are produced using premium 200gsm semi-gloss paper and high-quality archival inks. Each print includes a white border around the perimeter.

For the 40 x 60 size, we use 250gsm museum-quality archival paper with an off-white, uncoated finish.

The listed size refers to the overall paper dimensions. The image is printed proportionally within the selected paper size. Made in the USA or Europe, depending on your location.

ChromaLuxe

ChromaLuxe prints use a state-of-the-art coating process that infuses the image directly onto sheets of alloy metal. The result is photography with an exceptional combination of vibrancy, clarity, and durability.

Each print arrives ready to hang. An alloy subframe on the back allows the artwork to float away from the wall for a sleek, modern appearance. This is the finest-quality print we offer. Made in the USA.
