How long does it take to process an order?

Here at Archivea we do not stock any prints. We print all our Art-Prints on-demand, because of this our unframed prints will be shipped within 2 Business Days. Framed orders will ship within 2-3 weeks. Owner's Editions and Limited Editions will ship within 4-6 weeks.

Are multiple items shipped together or separately?

Depending on the number of items ordered, as well as size and weight, unframed prints are almost always shipped together. Each framed print is shipped in specially designed boxes to safeguard against breakage. Multiple framed pieces may be shipped together.

All indicated delivery times are estimates based solely on availability, normal order processing and the delivery times stated by the carriers. How good is the quality of the prints?

The giclee process uses technology that allows the artist or archivist to create editions made one-at-a-time to a very high quality standard but without the difficulty of working in reverse on a copper plate or stone or silkscreen. The giclee process requires great attention to detail to be certain that the original work is laser scanned correctly and color corrected to perfectly suit the paper or canvas or cotton rag substrate that it is to be applied to. Once ready the digital file which is often upwards of 300mb is transferred to a 'Piezo' printing device. This device translates the color information in the file into hundreds of millions of ink droplets, which are sprayed onto the final archival material of the actual print. Many proofs are rejected as artists and archivists work to get their desired results. Once found acceptable a proof is created. As each piece of each edition is made, it is numbered by hand and offered to collectors.

Limited-edition fine art prints should not to be confused with reproductions of existing works that are reproduced photo-mechanically for offset litho presses. These 'lithos' are usually produced in mass quantities on printing presses which typically run at 10,000 impressions per hour. Many of our competitors focus on 'lithos' and as such offer mass-produced images at mass-produced prices.

Most of our prints are available in (inches): 18x24, 24x36, 32x44 and 44x60.
However some special prints are available in 18x36, and 24x24.

What is the difference between Heavy Archival Paper and Canvas?

Our Heavy Archival paper is manufactured from a wood pulp paper product and looks fabulous matted and framed under glass. For the 'Fine Art' look our cotton canvas is available stretched or un-stretched and is best presented framed without glass.

Even though we print on demand, one work of art at a time, and even though we use the most technologically advanced printing process available anywhere, our prices are consistently below what you'd expect to pay for fine prints and frames. Do you offer framing?

Yes! Archivea offers framing on all of our 18x24, 18x36, 24x24 and 24x36 size prints. We offer a variety of frames and your choice of exterior and interior matt boards under a sheet of plexiglass. These orders are drop shipped to you, please allow an average of 2-3 weeks for delivery.

What is Archivea's Return, Cancellation and Guarantee policy?

At Archivea we stand behind our product 100%. Each print comes with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with your print you may return it.



Our Return Policy

If you are unsatisfied with your order for any reason, please contact us immediately. You may return items for a refund or store credit within 30 days of receiving any merchandise.



We cannot accept the following returns:

  • Any order returned more than 30 days after it was received
  • Any Customized Sign or Custom Order
  • Any damaged or otherwise non-resalable print
  • Any gift certificates


Please notify us of all returns before proceeding, Archivea cannot accept responsibility for unsolicited returns. Once you have notified us, please repackage the item in the original shipping container and be sure to include your order number. We recommend that you send your return back via an insured carrier to the following address:

If you are not satisfied with your Archivea purchase, we will work with you to make your return as easy as possible.


  • Archivea will refund you in the same form of payment originally used to purchase the item.

  • Shipping charges are not refundable.
  • Return postage is the responsibility of the customer.
